THE FLAT ROCK TAILGATE MARKET

Holly Spring Farm and Nursery - "We were blessed with 3/4 inch of rain Sunday night and the tomato plants grew at least 3 inches taller overnight. This week will be the last of the Asparagus, as we make our last cutting before laying the crop by to rejuvenate for next season. But, we still have plenty of greens, including, Lettuce, Swiss Chard, Collards, Kale and Kohlrabi. Also this week, besides Sugar Snap Peas, we'll have English Peas & Baby Carrots."
Deep Woods Mushroom - I'll have lot's of shiitakes and more I hope!
Welcome Back: Cane Creek Nursery - We will have broccoli rhabb, maybe broccoli, kolrhabi, lettuces, kales, chards & mustard greens. Also all natural, free range eggs & pork sausage.
Forest Creek Farm & Nursery - We'll be bringing some shiitake mushrooms, greens and cut flowers.
Papou's Greek - We will have our usual Spanikopita, Tiropita & dressing. Specials this week are Roasted Red Pepper & Mushroom Soup and a Veggie & Kalamata Olive pasta sauce.
Shepherds' Flock Farm - Hello, this week I will have Strawberries. I will have my Jam cookies everyone has been wanting me to make again and tomato pies. Let's not forget the lettuce, greens & arugla. I have added a new flavor to my jellies; watermelon preserves. Lavender tea & Lemonade will also be available. Hope you will come and see us Thursday.
Kay Farm - Strawberries, huge romaine and red leaf lettuce, herbs & fava beans.
Three Arrows Farm & Cattle Company - We will have all cuts of our beef.
Marvelous Pies - This week I will have more of the very popular Kentucky Derby Tarts! Generous slices of Triple Chocolate Cake with chocolate ganache. Strawberry Pies, fresh from Beechwood Farms, in SC. Red Velvet Cupcakes with fresh cream cheese vanilla frosting. Frozen Custard Cups with mulberries from a local farm here in SC.
Other Market Favorites - Native trees, shrubs, annual, prennial & herb plants. Artisan baked goods, free range chicken & eggs. Handcrafted goat & cow's milk cheeses. Fresh fish & seafood. Pizza kits to make at home.
